Important Changes in SMS Options.

What is a consent to alerts (alerts subscription)?

It's the option that seeks your client's agreement to receive alerts via SMS.

The benefit of agreeing to alerts

By authorizing this option, your client can receive alerts during snow removal operations. Allowing you to inform your customers before the cleaning process. This practice promotes advanced compliance with safety standards, enhancing your reputation and avoiding reports to phone service providers.

Change

Starting June 5, 2024, a fee of $0.05 will be charged per send/receive for each alerts consent transaction between the provider and the client. The charged amount will be included in your invoice under the Alerts amount as SMS Validation.

"Alerts Activated" Button

It is now your responsibility to disable (or not) the alerts consent if you do not wish to incur charges. However, you have the option to retain your clients' consents and subsequently reactivate this function to resume the charges and include all those who have consented to the subscription. To do this, go to the Management menu > Company, under the "Details" tab.

*By default, the button is always enabled.

Please note that when the button is reactivated, a pop-up window will appear to inform you of the acceptance of the charges. The charges will be billed monthly, as with Snow Alerts; nothing changes at this level.

Additionally, starting now, please note that it will no longer be possible to use SMS broadcasting for bulk messaging. However, you can still use this function to send emails without any interruption.
